The weekend kicks off on Thursday with the Consumer Show open to the public from 3-8 p.m. inside the Ray Clymer Exhibit Hall. The Consumer Show continues on Friday from 1-10 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. The events kick into high gear on Friday with the 13-mile Wee-Chi-Tah Mountain Bike Race. Jake Hooker was born listening to the sounds of traditional country music through his father’s west Texas country band. Jake began playing the bass at the age of seven and practiced diligently until he mastered the honky tonk sound. Tickets go on sale now.
