Rustic Roots 2018 Season begins Sept. 22 and ends Nov. 4. Open Thursday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. There is a haunted maze all of October that is open from dark until 10 p.m. every Friday and Saturday. Rustic Roots Pumpkin Patch features pumpkins and fall decoration, as well as a corn maze, petting zoo, corn cannon, hay maze, jump pad, hay fort, concessions and much more. Get ready to celebrate the 25th year of Dog Days of Denton, a celebration of man’s best friend, on Oct. 6. This is a free event open to all dog lovers! There is lots of fun to be had at Dog Days of Denton with many pup-friendly events like: Canine Couture Costume Contest, Dancing with the Dog, How Obedient is Your Dog, Glamfur Shots, Dallas Dog n’ Disc demonstrations, D.A.W.G. agility course with donations going to Leader Dog Project Pet Tricks, Dog Singing Contests, Spokesdog Pageant (must be entered in advance – visit the Dog Days of Denton website for registration forms). Wildcatter Ranch Pumpkin Patch

Wildcatter Ranch & Resort, 6062 Hwy 16 South, Graham, TX 76450. Pumpkins, pony rides, popcorn and pictures! The Dinner Bell at Wildcatter will be offering scrumptious menus varying each day the patch is open. From hot dogs and chili to empanadas and soup— you do not want to miss out! There will also be pumpkin cookies and pies! Beverages include pumpkin beer, fall wine flavors, sodas and water. Admission is $8 per adult, $5 per child (12 and under). Entry includes: one pony ride, one mini pumpkin, covered wagon ride. Tickets available for additional pony rides and all pumpkins for sale. Benefiting Virgina’s House.
