Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo
NRG Center- Three NRG Park, Houston, Texas 77054. The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo™ was organized for charitable, educational and scientific purposes to encourage and promote the breeding, raising and marketing of better livestock and farm products at public fairs and to promote and maintain research and educational functions within the livestock industry. It is the general policy of the Show to utilize, in the fiscal year subsequent to which it is earned, the excess of its revenue over expenses for the furtherance of its exempt purpose, including the granting and/or funding of scholarships, educational endowments, agricultural research projects and other similar programs and the funding of related capital additions and improvements. The funds of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo are used exclusively to meet necessary expenses for its upkeep and operation and in furtherance of the exempt purpose of the organization. March 8 – March 9
Wichita Falls Ranch & Farm Expo
JS Bridwell Ag Center, 111 N Burnett, Wichita Falls, TX 76301. The Wichita Falls Ranch & Farm Expo features more than 350 vendors in over 175,000 square feet of exhibit space. The expo will feature a live production bull sale, wild west rodeo acts and entertainment, Beer Garden, plus over $5,000 in prizes and giveaways. Texas A&M AgriLife Extension will be providing Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for Oklahoma and Texas producers through speakers and seminars. Show hours are Wednesday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Thursday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

March 9
Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) Workshop
Noble Foundation Kruse Auditorium, 2510 Sam Noble Pkwy. Ardmore, Okla. 73401. This workshop will give insight into BQA standards for animal care, record-keeping, nutrition and carcass quality. Participants can become BQA certified with successful completion of the workshop and a test. The workshop will be from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m

April 22
North Texas Trade Days-North Texas Fairgrounds, Denton, TX. 2217 N Carroll Blvd. Denton, TX 76201. An upscale indoor/outdoor trade market right in the heart of Denton. Something for everyone. Experience unique finds, antiques, industrial & salvage pieces, clothing, food trucks, local entertainment, kids zone, and handmade items. 13th Annual Red River Wine & Beer Festival
JS Bridwell Ag Center, 111 N Burnett, Wichita Falls, TX 76301. Novices to connoisseurs can choose from more than 44 different Texas wines to sample and craft beer tastings, all under one roof. Each guest receives a souvenir wine glass plus an official guide listing a profile of each winery at the festival and details about their offerings that day. When guests are not tasting wine, they can sample specialty beers in the Beer Corral, tap their toes to live music. Select vendors will also provide a bevy of food and merchandise for purchase.
