Ranch, Rodeo and Randomness

The 2020 Snaffle Bit Futurity in Fort Worth, Texas, has sure caused a stir on the Internet with a banner on the fence.

The Yellowstone banner on the fence spooked most of the horses competing in the hackamore class. Many of the horses got low or no scores so the show officials wanted to take it down and give the riders a do over.

The banner stayed up and Taylor Sheridan, one of the creators of Yellowstone, who was at the show doing some filming, announced the banner would stay up, and he would pay the first-place money to all competitors in the class. That is $13,000 each for a total of $181,000.
