I had every intention of having this painting done in this house in time for Thanksgiving. Yep, I was going to get all this furniture out of storage and set it up. Then, I slid in here in the tail of whatever whirlwind I was on that day, and Woodrow had the camper all rigged up.
“Get your stuff,” he said. “We are going to Turtle Hole to camp and watch the eclipse.” All of a sudden, I could not remember what I was going to paint.
You know I will not remember if my house was painted for Thanksgiving, but I will remember that eclipse and young Bowen Beedy fixing my camera for me.
