The year 2020 showed Texas to be a mecca for rodeo action. With the ongoing pandemic and the world continuing to stay at a standstill, the questions came rushing about where rodeo was going to have the list of finals from numerous publications.
The state of Texas took a stand and answered those questions, with a whole lot of effort and compromise. November kicked things off with the Professional Bull Riders moving their finals from the T Mobile Arena in Las Vegas to AT&T Stadium in Arlington. Shortly after the PBR made their announcement of making the move, the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association followed suit and announced Globe Field would host the National Finals Rodeo.
