Jalapeno Dove Peppers-
Deboned dove breasts
1 Block of cream cheese
1 Package of bacon,
Once the dove breasts are deboned, marinate them in soy sauce overnight (refrigerated). When ready to prepare, preheat your grill and remove the dove breasts from marinade. Slice jalapenos lengthwise in strips (as large or small as you’d like) and remove all seeds/veins (unless you’re brave…unlike me). Spread cream cheese inside jalapeno and top with dove breast. Wrap with a slice of bacon and secure it with a toothpick. (Tip: Soak wooden toothpicks in water before using on the grill, let’s all work together to prevent food fires.) Grill poppers over medium-high heat for 20-25 minutes or until bacon is crispy, turning once.
