Big bend ranch rodeo, Alpine, TX. Come out August 12 and 13 for the WRCA sanctioned Big Bend Ranch Rodeo. Friday the cutting competition kicks things off at the o6 Flats Arena with the WRCA performance that evening at the Sul Ross S.A.L.E. Arena. Saturday starts off with the RHAA competition, followed by the Youth Cow Horse Competition and WRCA Rodeo Performance all at the Sul Ross S.A.L.E. Arena. “Ridin’ for the Brand Cowboy Church, 5926FM 455, Sanger Texas, will have a Chuck Wagon Breakfast, on April 3, 2016 at 8:30 am. Food is prepared at the wagon and served family style. After breakfast, stick around for homemade cinnamon rolls and coffee at 10:00, and regular Sunday Church service at 10:30 am. The Chuck Wagon Breakfast is the first Sunday of each month through November, except May when it is held on Mothers’ Day.

Make plans now for the 35th annual Texas Ranch Roundup, co-sponsored by Bud Light and the North Texas Rehabilitation Center. —August 19-20, 2016. Proceeds benefit the North Texas Rehab Center, which serves north Texas and southern Oklahoma, the West Texas Rehabilitation Center in Abilene, and West Texas Boys Ranch in San Angelo. All events will be held in downtown Wichita Falls at the Multi-Purpose Events Center (MPEC). Ranch rodeo will be Friday and Saturday nights beginning at 7pm. Tickets will be available, starting June 1, 2014, at the KYC ticket office (940-716-5555 or wfmpec.com). Tickets start at just $10. Shop more than 200 booths at the Bit, Spur and Western Collectibles Trade Show and Festival. Friday and Saturday, from 9am – 7pm at the Ray Clymer Exhibit Hall. Admission: Adults $5, children 12 and under free. Festival Events include: Kids Roundup, Friday morning at 9:30 in the coliseum; Horse Expert Seminar; as well as Cutting Horse and Ranch Horse Competitions.
