Rustic Roots 2018 Season begins Sept. 22 and ends Nov. 4. Open Thursday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. There is a haunted maze all of October that is open from dark until 10 p.m. every Friday and Saturday. Rustic Roots Pumpkin Patch features pumpkins and fall decoration, as well as a corn maze, petting zoo, corn cannon, hay maze, jump pad, hay fort, concessions and much more. There is lots of fun to be had at Dog Days of Denton with many pup-friendly events like: Canine Couture Costume Contest, Dancing with the Dog, How Obedient is Your Dog, Glamfur Shots, Dallas Dog n’ Disc demonstrations, D.A.W.G. agility course with donations going to Leader Dog Project Pet Tricks, Dog Singing Contests, Spokesdog Pageant (must be entered in advance – visit the Dog Days of Denton website for registration forms). Tarrant County Sheriff’s Posse Third Annual Trinity Trail Ride

Fort Worth Stockyards, Fort Worth, TX. The TCS Posse is an equestrian riding club affiliated with the Sheriff’s Office. Founded in 1958 by Sheriff Harlan Wright, the posse represents the Sheriff’s Office at ceremonial events, parades and community functions, including those at the Fort Worth Stockyards. Since 2016, Stockyards Heritage Development Co. has hosted the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Posse at Stockyards Station before they go on the trail for a fun day of riding, a Chuck Wagon style lunch, entertainment and door prizes given out during lunch.
