Dec. 15 – 17 • McKinney
4550 W University Dr., McKinney, TX 75071. It is the oldest and largest monthly trade days/flea market in North Texas. More than 450 vendors offer almost anything you can imagine – unique gifts, delightful home decor, trendy clothing and accessories, sporting goods, antiques and collectibles, dogs and specialty items along with many fantastic state fair. type food concessions. You’ll find a mix of antiques, trendy apparel and accessories, baby and children’s clothing and accessories, a great variety of home decor including shabby chic, re-purposed items, vintage, rustic, primitive, western and seasonal along with metal art, pet supplies, garden/outdoor decor and furniture, health and beauty products and more. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. all three days.
Local celebrity dancers of the greater Gainesville area brought the house down recently at the second annual “Dancing With Our Stars” contest in Lindsay. The event raised more than $200,000 as the sponsored dance teams did their best to take home the grand prize.
The money raised will go to the “Heart of NTMC” Campaign for the purchase of a cardiac capable CT machine for the Gainesville hospital. Rodolfo “Rudy” Martinez and Sherry Sherriden took home the Mirror Ball Trophy.
