2021 has taken rural real estate activity in North Texas to a level that we have never seen before. Fueled by urban and suburban residents who are looking for a more remote home location for their family or for weekend enjoyment, the number of buyers for what we sell is at an all time high. We are seeing more properties become available on the market now, and some sellers are telling me it is to hedge against the changes in the IRS code that they are expecting under the new administration.
