Cowboy True Celebrates 10th Anniversary

By Dani Blackburn

Cowboy True is celebrating 10 years of educating the region about the honor, art and beauty of a cowboy’s daily life. This event is bought to you by the Arts Council, Wichita Falls Area, Inc. and benefits The Forum and Whispers of Hope Horse Farm.

This year’s event will take place March 19-20 at the J.S. Bridwell Ag Center in Wichita Falls and the celebration will be full of music, food and cowboy art in honor of its decade of tradition.

The Cowboy True Art Exhibit will feature artists and craftsmen from across the country. Artists are juried into the event based on their artistic skill and strong representation of the Cowboy way of life. Artists can show their work and discuss an array of projects including bits, boots, buckles, cowboy cartoons, drawing, jewelry, painting, photography, saddles, sculptures, spurs, trappings and woodworking.
