Someone said, “If the year 2020 were a drink, it would be hotdog water.” Not a bad analogy at all, in my opinion, but things could always be worse. The land market has remained somewhat steady for the month of April, despite all of the turmoil going on in the world today. We are certainly seeing an increase in the number of buyers in the market today, which should turn into more closings in the next 30 to 60 days. Some of that is due to the time of year, as spring is always a busy time for the land market, but this year seems to be different with buyers from the metro areas wanting to get out, or at least have a place they can get out to.
