Growing up a country boy with both parents in law enforcement, I guess it was inevitable. I too would pursue a career in law enforcement. I put myself through the police academy while working as a jailer at night until I graduated and became a certified officer. What they didn’t teach you in the police academy was all the non-law enforcement tasks associated with the job.

First off, being a police officer is not like what’s seen on Cops or Live PD, there is a lot of down time and unrelated law enforcement calls, some funny, some not so much.
