Land Market Report: June 2019 Rural Land Sales

The Dog Days of Summer are here, but with a mixed bag of activity. Some counties are seeing the typical slow down in land transactions, but others are seeing an explosion of activity.

Most land brokerages are very slow in the months of June through September, but a few are having a hard time getting any rest. In general, the number of days that a property is staying on the market shows to be shorter for June, while prices seem to be about the same as this time one year ago.

Above is a synopsis of land transaction for the month of June, 2019 in four of our North Texas Counties. (Description by Jared Groce)
