Ditching dress shoes for Cowboy Boots

At the intersection of Highways 156 and 1173 is downtown Krum, Texas. A downtown area is where most small towns come alive. Located at 114 W. McCart Street, Loco Gringo Western Wear Exchange brought its own flair to that area of Krum. Established in 2013, owners Scott and Lori Johnson have created a consignment store as unique as the story of how it came to be.
Johnson worked in the financial-corporate industry for several years before taking a leap of faith on an idea he had. Johnson considered a consignment store after buying a suit in a department store and paid $500. When Johnson wanted to add variety to his professional attire, he found a men’s consignment shop where he purchased four very nice suits for around $80 each.
